How We Met...

Yes indeed, singles wards do provide a setting for falling in love. I was in Will's stake. He was Executive Secretary, I was RS Pres and both of us spent extra time 'hanging out' in the same hall near our bishops' offices. He saw my photo on the ward bulletin and thought, "I want to find that girl." At least that is how I am telling the story.

So, he did. On Facebook. Our first date was for lunch at his favorite Thai restaurant. I remember he came in his khaki reporter jacket/coat and I thought, "This guy really does work for KSL!" The thing that attracted me the most was our conversation. He was open to talk about anything and listen even more. He asked what I was passionate about and I said 2 things--Dietary Supplement Use and some of my favorite topics in religion. He was passionate about photography and tennis. And he is a convert to the church, and his conversion story is remarkable just because he had the softest heart. He walked me to my car and I knew I wanted to see him again.

He waited the appropriate 3 days to call me for our second date :)
